1. Acceptance of Terms

By accesssing Nexus-Streams, you agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy

You are solely responsible for the content you stream or post. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Harassment, hate speech, or bullying.
  • Explicit or sexually suggestive content.
  • Illegal activities or copyright infringement.

Nexus-Streams reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules immediately.

3. Moderation & Reporting

We provide tools to report content. Our moderation team reviews reports 24/7. Broadcasters are responsible for moderating their own channel's chat during live events.

4. Service Availability

Nexus-Streams is provided "as is". While we strive for 100% uptime, maintenance and server capacity may affect service availability.

5. Adult & Pornographic Content — Prohibition & Exceptions

The streaming or uploading of pornographic or explicitly sexual content is strictly prohibited on Nexus-Streams.

This restriction is in place due to legal requirements under German law, specifically the Jugendmedienschutzstaatsvertrag (JMStV), which mandates KJM-compliant age verification systems before any platform may host adult content. Such a system is not currently in place on this platform.

Mature content (e.g. horror games, strong language, violence rated USK 18) is permitted subject to enabling the "Mature" channel flag, which requires viewer acknowledgment before access.

Exception — Incidental In-Game Content: Sexual scenes that are part of a game's scripted narrative (e.g. story-driven cutscenes in games such as The Witcher 3, Mass Effect, etc.) are permitted, provided:

  • The content is an unmodified, scripted part of the original game.
  • The streamer does not deliberately seek out, replay, or focus on such scenes beyond normal gameplay progression.
  • The channel is flagged as Mature.

Violations of this section will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities. This policy may be revised in the future should appropriate age verification infrastructure be implemented.

6. Historical & Educational Content

Nexus-Streams recognizes the importance of historical education and documentary reporting. Depictions of historical events, figures, or symbols (e.g., from the World War II era) are permitted provided that:

  • The content is clearly educational, documentary, or journalistic in nature.
  • The content does not promote, glorify, or trivialize the horrors of war or unconstitutional ideologies.
  • The content is used to provide historical context or critical analysis.

Content that uses historical symbols for the purpose of hate speech, harassment, or the promotion of prohibited ideologies remains strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account termination.
